Last Dance at the Sundance Stompede

Last Dance at the Sundance Stompede is a short film about San Francisco’s LGBTQ+ country-western dance weekend, the Sundance Stompede. After 27 years in 2023 it danced its final dance. The film documents that final weekend of dancing and the thoughts and reflections of 15 of its participants.  As we journey into the weekend a film about queer country and western dancing reveals deeper insights into the power of dance to not only to create community but to offer a profound healing of bodies and minds.
