Graham Clayton-Chance

Graham Clayton-Chance is an artist filmmaker. His work examines the portrayal of biography, memory and portraiture in film and live performance interweaving techniques from documentary and fiction. Often working in collaboration with with performance texts. Since 2012 he has been constructing the archive for UK choreographer and dancer Nigel Charnock, drawing on his relationship with the artist to explore mutable boundaries between collector and archive, grief, artefact and memory.

Animation work for exploring the impact of Brutalist architecture on the subject of the city. Created by taking over 100 photographic details from Brutalist architecture across the UK and re-interpreting into new 3D architectural forms.
